Ingredients
  1. 3 lbs whole chicken with bones
  2. 2 medium onions- chopped
  3. 2 tablespoons garlic
  4. 2 tablespoons ginger
  5. 1 tsp haldi
  6. Chilli powder to taste
  7. 1 big tomato- cubed
  8. Salt to taste
  9. 1 or 2 potatoes halved
  10. 1 tsp.Nirav garam masala- whole
  11. 1.5 tsp Nirav garam masala ground
  12. Oil
Instructions
  1. Heat oil and when hot add whole garam masala, onions and then garlic. Saute. Add turmeric, chilli powder and stir for 2 mins. When onions become golden add rest of ingredients. Cook on open flame medium to medium high depending on your pot for 10-15 minutes roughly. add potatoes add salt. Tomatoes should be pulpy now and you will see that the water released is slowly drying up.Add water depending on how much gravy you want and bring to boil. Then cover and cook. Check to see that potatoes have boiled and chicken is cooked. Open and add ground garam masala. Cover till ready to serve
